"To me, all of the “plus-sized” shots of naked women frustrate me because, a) they oftentimes seem pin-up-y, as if thin models can sell the serious clothes, and “plus-sized” models are better at being sex objects because of their curves, and b) I wonder if the stylists got lazy, and instead of looking for “plus-sized” clothes, they just thought to themselves, “well, we don’t have that many clothes in these model’s sizes on hand, why don’t we just shoot her naked?"

Right, like curvy models won’t be able to sell the clothes (then again, the designer samples are tiny) (then again then again, designers and editors always go back and forth saying “we only make our samples small because that’s what magazine want!” and “we only use thin models because samples are so small!”)
BUT I DIGRESS. I don’t see why there has to be a whole issue devoted to plus-size in the first place, like “LOOK, GUYS! NOT STICK-THIN *CAN* BE BEAUTIFUL!) Why don’t magazines just have plus-sized editorials in regular issues, ain’t no big thang.
